What Information Do We Gather?

You have complete control over the personal information you give us. In general, you can visit our Web site without providing us with any personal information. However, there are instances where we must get some information in order to respond to your support or software request. This information may include your name, title, email address, phone number, etc. We may ask you for this information at various places on our Web site. If any of the information is optional, we will note so. Our Web servers gather some data automatically, but none of this data identifies you or your computer.

RWD may keep this information to keep track of the domains from which people visit our Web site, to monitor access to help us redesign the site, or simply to contact you either electronically or otherwise. IP Addresses

Our Web servers log IP addresses and access times. This data doesn't identify you or your computer individually.

Our systems administrators have access to the information we gather simply because, as administrators, they need to access RWD's servers. However, they do not use the information for any purpose.

What Do We Use the Information For?

Information Request

We use this information to respond to your support or software requests. We don't send any materials or information that you do not request.

IP Addresses

We use IP addresses to monitor use of our Web site. We can track requests from a particular IP address through the site, but we can't use IP addresses to identify individual users or computers.

Do We Use Cookies?

RWD uses "cookies" in its Web site. A cookie is a small data file that a Web site can transfer to a visitor's hard drive to keep data that the site can use for various purposes. A cookie cannot read data off of your hard drive, and a Web site cannot read cookie files created by other sites.

For example, we provide information to our service providers for direct emailing of our newsletters, online surveys, press releases, and notifications on RWD Offerings to our visitors. When you sign up for an email list, you will be given instructions on how to remove yourself from that list.

What About Web Sites We Link To?

Our Web site provides links to other third-party Web sites. Even if the third party is affiliated with RWD through a business partnership or otherwise, RWD is not responsible for the privacy policies or practices or the content of such third-party sites. We have no control over those sites or what they do with any information they might gather from you. These links are provided to you for your convenience only, and you access them at your own risk. If you have concerns about their privacy policies, you should contact them.

What About Access by Children?

Our Web site is not targeted towards children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly gather any personal information about anyone under the age of 13.
